Greenery Lane Love and Hugs Card for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! This week we have a Theme Challenge for our Blog Hop. Our theme is “Greenery”. I decided I wanted to play around with my Greenery Lane bundle again, but do a different color scheme this time. This is the card I made:

Instead of the greens and blues that I used for my previous card based on the coordinating washi tape, I wanted to do pinks and blues for this card. You can see my previous Greenery Lane card HERE.

To make this card:

• Cut Thick White cardstock at 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4″
• cut Basic White cardstock at 4 x 5-1/4″ and emboss with Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder
• Sponge Bubble Bath over the embossed panel and glue onto cardbase
• Cut Basic White at 3-1/2 x 4-3/4″
• Stamp large leaf image from Greenery Lane stamp set with Cloud Cover ink in right upper corner and left lower corner of the 3-1/2 x 4-3/4″ panel
• onto scrap Basic White, stamp the 7 leaf image twice with Berry Burst ink. Then stamp the filler image with Berry Burst ink, stamped off once. Cut out with corresponding die
• onto scrap Basic White, stamp the 3 leaf image with Bubble Bath ink. Stamp the filler image with Bubble Bath ink, stamped off once. Cut out with corresponding die
• onto scrap Basic White, stamp the 3 leaf image with small spray of greenery with Lost Lagoon ink. Stamp the filler image with Lost Lagoon ink, full strength. Cut out with corresponding die
• onto scrap Basic White cardstock, stamp the sentiment ” Love and Hugs” with Berry Burst ink. Cut out with the Spotlight on Nature die (flower edge, 2-1/4″ diameter)
• arrange all the cut out greenery over the Cloud Cover leaves and glue on.
• Stamp 2 small flower image with Bubble Bath ink, one at top and one at bottom.
• Add the sentiment circle over the center of greenery with a dimensional.
• Add 3 Garden Epoxy Dots in Berry Burst color
• Adhere the greenery filled panel onto the embossed panel with dimensionals

For the inside and the envelope, I stamped the 3 leaf image in Berry Burst ink

This card was really fun to put together and I loved playing around with different color combinations. Even though the Beautiful Pattern Embossing folder and the Garden Epoxy Dots are not made to coordinate together, I love how they actually do coordinate with the small flower in the Greenery Lane stamp set.

Changes to the Upcoming Catalog Timelines

Starting in May, Stampin’ Up! is refreshing the way they share products in print, with a new, streamlined catalog strategy designed to make shopping from their catalogs easier and more intuitive.  Instead of an annual catalog and multiple minis, they are moving to three beautifully designed catalogs per year—each one complete, current, and easy to use on its own.  No more overlapping catalogs!

Each catalog will introduce new products alongside a selection of customer-favorite staples (core products)—such as stamps, ink, paper, tools, and adhesives—bringing the feel of a mini catalog and an annual catalog together in one place.  This balanced approach creates an easy-to-shop print experience, all within a catalog released every four months:

• January–April
• May–August
• September–December

New Magnetic Ink Pads – 2026-2028 In Colors!

Beginning in May 2026, Stampin’ Up! will introduce new felt ink pads in a magnetic, stackable case design.

• In 2026, only the new In Colors will be offered in the new magnetic felt pads.
• In 2027, all ink colors will transition to the new magnetic felt pad as part of a planned color revamp, and the current pad style will be phased out.

Importantly, existing ink pads will remain usable throughout this transition—there is no immediate need to replace what you already own. Please be aware, however, that once the transition takes place, the old ink pad design will only be available while supplies last.

The photo is an early peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors!  And they look beautiful!!  The new Magnetic Ink Pads in the new In Colors will be available to order May 5!  The colors are a little hard to read in the image, but here they are (from left to right):

• Crisp Cantaloupe
• Barely Blush
• Golden Glow
• Peaceful Pine
• Hydrangea Hue

I have heard that these new ink pads are much easier to open and close and I am looking forward to that!
