Hello Spring Basket Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

March is finally here with some warmer weather. I am so happy that spring is is around the corner! It is a perfect time for our theme this month which is “Celebrate Spring”!

Here is the card I made!

I used the Easter Basket dies to make the basket and flowers. The patterned paper is from Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper and the embossing was done with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder.

To make this card:

• Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock for cardbase at 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and score at 4-1/4″
• Cut Basic White at 4 x 5-1/4″, emboss with Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, and glue on.
• Cut Daffodil Delight with 3rd largest Everyday Arches die
• Cut yellow floral patterned of Mixed Up Patterns DSP with 4th largest Everyday Arches Dies and glue ontop of the Daffodil Delight Arch panel
• Cut the darkest paper of Wood Grain Wonders DSP with the basket die from Easter Basket Dies. Cut off the handles.
• Cut the yellow floral pattern of the Mixed Up Patterns DSP with the die from Easter Basket dies to weave into the the basket.
• Tie a White Baker’s Twine around the basket and add a bow
• Cut 3 Daffodils with the daffodil die from Easter Basket Die using Lemon Lolly cardstock. I glued the separate larger flower in the die over the smaller one and colored the center with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to make different shades with each flower.
• Cut 3 stems/leaves with the die from Easter Basket using Old Olive cardstock. Glue the flowers and stems together at different heights.
• Glue the basket onto the arched matted panel and add the flowers at different height.
• Stamp at the top of the arched panel with Early Espresso ink using the “hello, spring” sentiment from Easter Basket stamp set.

For the inside, I decorated a basic white panel by stamping the tulip image from Easter Basket stamp set in Old Olive ink and coloring it in with Daffodil Delight. I also added a small strip of the same Mixed Up Patterns DSP at the bottom.

Changes to the Upcoming Catalog Timelines

Starting in May, Stampin’ Up! is refreshing the way they share products in print, with a new, streamlined catalog strategy designed to make shopping from their catalogs easier and more intuitive.  Instead of an annual catalog and multiple minis, they are moving to three beautifully designed catalogs per year—each one complete, current, and easy to use on its own.  No more overlapping catalogs!

Each catalog will introduce new products alongside a selection of customer-favorite staples (core products)—such as stamps, ink, paper, tools, and adhesives—bringing the feel of a mini catalog and an annual catalog together in one place.  This balanced approach creates an easy-to-shop print experience, all within a catalog released every four months:

• January–April

New Magnetic Ink Pads – 2026-2028 In Colors!

Beginning in May 2026, Stampin’ Up! will introduce new felt ink pads in a magnetic, stackable case design.

• In 2026, only the new In Colors will be offered in the new magnetic felt pads.
• In 2027, all ink colors will transition to the new magnetic felt pad as part of a planned color revamp, and the current pad style will be phased out.

Importantly, existing ink pads will remain usable throughout this transition—there is no immediate need to replace what you already own. Please be aware, however, that once the transition takes place, the old ink pad design will only be available while supplies last.

The photo is an early peek at the new 2026-2028 In Colors!  And they look beautiful!!  The new Magnetic Ink Pads in the new In Colors will be available to order May 5!  The colors are a little hard to read in the image, but here they are (from left to right):

• Crisp Cantaloupe
• Barely Blush
• Golden Glow
• Peaceful Pine
• Hydrangea Hue

I have heard that these new ink pads are much easier to open and close and I am looking forward to that!
