Sweet Halloween Card with Spooky Sweet Suite

Hello, hope this finds you doing well and enjoying your weekend! Today I am sharing a “sweet” Halloween card made with the Spooky Sweet Suite. Earlier this week, I shared the “spooky” version. I like this one much better lol! Of course, I am a cat lover so that makes me more biased with this cute cat image! And did you notice the cat in the background paper too?!

To make this card, I used Petunia Pop cardstock for the cardbase, cut at 8-1/2 x 5-1/2″ & scored at 4-1/4″. The next panel is a gray pattern from the Spooky Suite Specialty Designer Series Paper cut at 4 x 5-1/4″. Then the next panel is another pattern cut from this same DSP. This page features several blocked sections of scenery and I cut this one out with the black cat looking out its window. I inked the cat image from the Spooky Halloween stamp set in Tuxedo Black onto Basic White cardstock. I colored the cat with my Stampin Blends in these colors: Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Petunia Pop, and Granny Apple Green. After coloring, I cut the cat out with the corresponding die. I adhered the cat with dimensionals on the sidewalk. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set, Spooky Halloween, with Tuxedo Black. I cut this out with a Textured Notes die which I also adhered with dimensionals. The last step was to add some Petunia Pop colored Shimmer Star Foam Stickers.

For the inside of the card, I decorated a panel of Basic White with a small strip of the same gray patterned DSP that I used on the front. Then I stamped the sentiment with Tuxedo Black. I stamped the little Jack O Lantern pumpkin with Petunia Pop ink.

Do you prefer sweet or spooky for Halloween? I am definitely all about the sweet!! But I do enjoy a little touch of spooky here and there too!
