Spooky Sweet Haunted House Card

Today I want to share a Halloween card that we made in my Stamp Camp last week. This card uses 4 patterns from the Spooky Sweet Specialty Designer Series Paper. The card base is Basic Gray cut at 8-1/2 x 5-1/2″ & scored at 4-1/4″. The next panel is the orange and white pattern of the Spooky Sweet DSP cut at 5-1/4 x4″. The “Happy Halloween” sentiment from the Spooky Halloween Stamp Set is stamped in top left corner in Tuxedo Black. The gate/fence and the haunted house are cut with the Spooky Halloween Dies using two other patterns of the DSP. Then the black/orange circle was cut from the Spotlight on Nature circle die. Before the circle was glued down, we sponged some Basic Gray with a blending brush on the orange/white DSP behind where the circle would be placed to add some more “spookiness” behind the house. Then the circle, the house, and the gate were glued on with liquid glue. We cut the bats with Basic Black cardstock and the Spooky Halloween Die and glued those on as the final touch around the haunted house.

For the inside of the card, we added a small strip of the Spooky Sweet DSP (the same pattern as the haunted house) to a Basic White panel. The sentiment is from the same Spooky Halloween stamp set, inked in Tuxedo Black. The little trick-or-treat pumpkin was added with Pumpkin Pie ink.
