Kintsugi Inspirations Thank You Card

Happy Saturday! This week I pulled out my Kintsugi Inspirations Suite again to make a thank you card. First, I picked out a patterned paper from the Kintsugi Inspirations Designer Series Paper. I love this blue, white and gold paper so I designed my card around this paper with these 3 colors. First I used Thick White Cardstock for my cardbase. I cut it at 11x 4-1/4″ and scored it at 5-1/2″ inch. Next I added a panel of the blue, white and gold patterned DSP. I cut a piece of Misty Moonlight Two Tone Cardstock at 4-1/2 x 4. This color is available both in the single color packet or in the Weekend Adventures Two Tone Cardstock Variety pack. I embossed this panel in the Joined Together 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, I took a sanding block and rubbed gently across the raised surfaces to expose the white in the paper. Next I adhered a small strip of gold foil underneath the embossed panel both at the top and the bottom. I glued the whole thing in the center.

I stamped the vase image from the Inspiring Imperfections Stamp Set with Misty Moonlight Ink onto Basic White. This was cut out with the corresponding vase die. While I had my die out, I also cut a blue and gold vase from the DSP. For the sentiment, I inked up only the “Thanks” portion of the stamp in Misty Moonlight. I stamped that onto Basic White as well. The sentiment was cut out with the tape banner die. I adhered the white vase to the left side of the card with glue. The blue vase was adhered in the center with dimensionals. Finally, the tape banner was adhered with a dimensional on its right side and glue on the left side where it overlaps the blue vase. The finishing touch was to add some gold Flower Accent embellishments.

For the inside of the card, I simply decorated it with a small strip of the matching DSP. I love how elegant this card came out with all the gold accents.
