Sending Good Vibes for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

This is my second week with the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I love how these challenges are inspiring my creativity. This week’s challenge is a color challenge!

Well, I decided to go all in and use ALL the colors!! Why not, since they were all in the Designer Series Paper I used. If you have not figured out yet how much I love using Designer Series Paper, let me tell you- I LOVE Stampin Up’s DSP!! Its my go-to for making my cards special!

The cardbase for this card is Cloud Cover. I adhered a rainbow pattern from the Boho Vibes Designer Series Paper. On Basic White cardstock, I stamped the half sun image inked in Petal Pink. I added the sun-rays image in Petal Pink and then I went back and added more sun-rays inked in Cloud Cover. Underneath the half-sun, I stamped the sentiment “Sending Good Vibes” inked in Secret Sea. I die-cut this out with a Stylish Shape die. Next, I used the Spotlight on Natures Dies to cut out a slightly larger Secret Sea circle that almost looks like it has the rays as well. This was layered underneath the stamped circle. I adhered the combined circles with dimensionals on the curve of the rainbow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped some sun-rays in two corners of a Basic White panel.

The final touch was to add the 3 Secret Sea hearts on the front. These hearts are from the corresponding Sunshine Vibes Dies.
