Cake Celebrations Birthday Card

Today’s post features one of my favorite stamp bundles that is now on the Last Chance list. Scoop this one up before it is gone! This card is great for birthdays and also weddings or anniversaries as well! You can stamp the cake, die cut the cake or both. There are several stamp and dies for embellishing the cake too!

I crafted a birthday card for my friend using this bundle. I used cool tone colors of Pool Party and Gray Granite. The card base is Gray Granite and the next layer is Pool Party. Then for the next layer I embossed the Gray Granite with the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder. There is a little space at the top without any embossing. This space was a perfect place for me to stamp the sentiment with Early Espresso Ink. This embossed and stamped layer was glued on with dimensionals. The white circle was cut out with the Spotlight on Nature dies. For the cake, I stamped the pedestal in early espresso ink and cut it out with the corresponding die. I cut out the two tiers of the cake with the dies in Gray Granite. The Pool Party icing is also cut out the dies. I stamped the flowers in Pool Party ink and cut it out with the corresponding flower dies. The pedestal and cake tiers were glued on with dimensionals. The icing and flowers were glued on with liquid glue. The flowers were accented with Basic Pearl Jewels.

The inside of the card was stamped with the sentiment that says “Happy Birthday”. It was a really fun card to make. I enjoyed “baking” a cake without making a mess of my kitchen. Best of all, this cake will last forever!
