Bright and Beautiful Birthday

In April, we made 3 cards for Stamp Camp. I am going to showcase one at time to do a deeper look at each one. The first one was a cheerful birthday card using fun paper and a twist on the traditional cardbase.

Supplies used for this card include: (all products SU! unless indicated)
Stamp Set:
Arched Wishes
Dies: Everyday Arches (I used the largest, second largest, and the 4th largest for this card)
Embossing Folder: n/a
Cardstock: Berry Burst cardbase 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, Basic White 3 1/2 x 4 1/2, Basic White for inside 4x 5 1/2
DSP: Bright and Beautiful 4 x 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 x 1/2 strip inside (this DSP is now on the Last Chance list, you can also sub with another colorful DSP)
Ink: Memento Black, Lemon Lolly, Azure Afternoon
Stampin’ Blends: Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon
Embellishments: Two Tone Sparkle Gems

To make this arched card base, fold the cardbase as usual and when you place the die on the cardbase, move the left edge of the die off to the left of the crease so that the fold is inside the die. The cupcake was colored with the Stampin’ Blends.

The inside of this card was fun to make with more arches and corresponding strip of DSP.

Product List

Everyone in the Stamp Camps enjoyed making this card! I gave them the option of doing a traditional cardbase instead of the arched cardbase. Everyone chose to make the arched option! These arch dies are so versatile from being a card base to making layers with them.
